Description:

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The AVP, Strategic Sourcing, Sourcing Execution contributes to and delivers against SSG’s strategic agenda and priorities by overseeing a category team in assisting SSG to deliver on its mission statement, including to:

  • Strategically optimize total cost of ownership
  • Deliver an efficient and consistent sourcing experience to our internal customers
  • Enhance the team’s capabilities for the future
  • Provide expertise and solutions to achieve desired LOB outcomes
  • Ensure that the team is cost-effective and efficient
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities and decision rights

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Contribute to the Shopwise Program as a key subject matter expert and change agent
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with TD Lines of Business & other key stakeholder groups
  • Participate in relevant industry, commodity & professional organizations & events
  • Develop a transparent, inclusive and diverse culture that embraces leadership, teamwork and fun

Qualifications/Skills/Experience :

  • 10 years of both strategic and operational expertise
  • Experience leading teams
  • A strong business acumen and the ability to influence others
  • Experience leading change management activities
