Description:
Your responsibilities
Warehouse team members play an integral role in picking stock, preparing orders for despatch, receiving, and storing shipments from suppliers, inventory checks and balances and working efficiently within a team to ensure the warehouse standards and processes are always maintained.
Key duties
- To ensure all equipment for despatch is picked & packed accurately & distributed to the correct customers and/or event in accordance with procedures.
- To supervise the loading of courier, carrier, and freight forwarder vehicles
- To assist with internal cycle counting of inventory
- Assist in other areas of Supply Chain when needed.
- To ensure housekeeping in the area is always maintained
Your qualification
- Experience of working in a warehouse advantageous
- No specialist knowledge required.
- Forklift Licence advantageous
- Driving Licence advantageous
- Communicates accurately and to the point.
- Records messages and information accurately and passes them on promptly.
- Presents written information accurately and concisely.
- Asks questions and is not afraid to admit to mistakes or lack of knowledge.
- Willing to learn new skills as the job changes.
