REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of five years’ previous selling experience

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • The Sr Associate, Territory Sales is responsible for the leadership and development of strategic Institutional and Industrial accounts.
  • Responsible for pursuing new business through pipeline management in Salesforce and managing existing client relationships with an assigned set of accounts in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by SCJP management product growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve an in-depth knowledge and understanding of each distributor and their respective market sectors.
  • Ensure Distributors are fully trained in all aspects of the SCJP product range and that the training is updated on a regular basis.
  • Support establishing distributor business plans and incentive programs. They will manage sales of product through an analysis and focus on: Distributor performance, Distributor branch performance, Sales lead generation and pipeline activity through Salesforce, Production of specific account plans for each account managed covering as a minimum: sales, marketing, training and product activity
  • Adhere to the highest standards of SCJP’s Sales Methodology so all are operating at their highest performance level against selling targeted end users.
  • Partner with Marketing to create winning sales and marketing programs and in in developing sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Organize and where appropriate attend trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Manage budget and create profitable Industrial and Institutional acquisitions.
  • Provide deep insight into competitive activity, market dynamics and external information to guide the company’s decision-making process
  • Sales Forecasting, including monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts.
  • Attend meetings where necessary to report on sales performance including competitor data where appropriate.
  • Administer all management report requests and/or any additional information as specified by the Director, GM or Sector President.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships and communications with Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Services, and Sales Administration, thus ensuring that all available information is fully understood and effectively communicated to customers and sales management.
  • Handle customer complaints or requests promptly in accordance with company policy and advise management of any situations beyond his/her scope of authority, to ensure lasting goodwill between the customers and SCJP.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and territory records through the CRM system
  • Comply with all company policies, health and safety requirements, instructions and directives for the fulfilment of SCJP’s objectives and for maximum profitable sales.
