Mission of the role:
As Assortment Planning Manager you will play a critical role in shaping the commercial success of Pandora within the SEMEA cluster (Italy, Turkey, Greece, UAE, South Africa). This position is not just about managing numbers; it’s about driving strategic initiatives that align with our global vision while tailoring them to meet local market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Assortment Strategy: Lead the SEMEA assortment strategy across all seasonal stages, from line planning to buying and sales analysis. Translate global strategies into actionable trading strategies tailored for the cluster.
Seasonal Planning: Utilize historical performance, in-season sales, and global strategies to create seasonal plans. Collaborate cross-functionally to finalize assortment plans and monitor financial impacts.
Reporting & Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of market performance and develop strategies to improve KPIs. Serve as the main point of contact for reporting final cluster buys and coordinate revisions based on in-season insights.
Product Margin Management: Align with global teams to set pricing strategies and ensure delivery of margin targets for collections. Aggregate and analyze online plans to meet financial goals.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 8 years in Merchandising, Consumer Insights, or Demand Planning.
Proven track record as a technical merchandise planner with international retail experience.
5+ years in a leadership role managing teams.
Experience in retail, fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG industries.

SKILLS:

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to learn technical applications quickly (e.g., MS Access, Hyperion, APTOS).
Strong analytical skills with experience managing large data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Fashion Merchandising.
Languages:
Fluent in English.
