QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related major, Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5/7+ years of professional Data Operations experience particularly focusing on the data models area.
  • Understand all aspects of ETL processes.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills which bring clarity and precision to help management understand and visualize complex material to support organizational decision-making is a must.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, processes, and requirements regarding managing large data sets.
  • Willing to learn new technologies, capable of self-directed learning.
  • Experience with Collibra.
  • Experience with Data Modelling tools.
  • Experience with streaming and APIs technology.
  • Experience writing SQL and/or Python queries
  • Knowledge of SQL Server Architecture as well as NoSQL frameworks.
  • Nice-to-have French language knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • As a member of the Publication Operations team, the Assistant Director - Data Modelling Specialist will be responsible for managing the data model through our data pipeline .
  • Gain an in-depth understanding on the availability and publication of key data domains for entities: firmographics, financial statements, directors/managers, and shareholder structures.(a.o.
  • Help in documenting the data dictionary.
  • Coordinate and provide Logical Data Model information across the business especially among engineers and product strategists.
  • Document and gather the requirements from the business.
  • Design, maintain and update the data model based on stakeholder requests following the data model governance operational workflow.
  • Design, set up and start operating the data model governance operational workflow.
  • Produce and validate the stakeholders enablement material.
  • Inform and educate stakeholders.
  • Manage the reference table system(s).
