Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to internal movement, we are seeking an Assurance Officer to join our Insurance Contracts team on a short-term contract. This role facilitates appropriate risk and quality management system reviews internally and across the claims agents we partner with.

Responsibilities:

This position plays an essential role in ensuring that the ReturnToWorkSA Insurance team and our Claims Agents have the required quality assurance, and risk management systems of work that will sustain and improve service delivery to empower and support South Australians impacted by work injury. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate effective claims management risk and compliance practices with a focus on operational controls and quality systems
  • Integrate assurance requirements across the business and highlight risk exposure through thorough reporting and analysis
  • Provide support to improve service quality and technical claims management processes, and other internal operational processes within Insurance
  • Work across end-to-end systems of work to ensure the consistent application and embedding of RTWSA’s risk appetite
