Description:

Role Purpose
LSEG Security Operations is a central function employing people, process and technology to continuously monitor and respond to cyber security incidents. Security Operations spans multiple domains including cyber threat intelligence, cyber threat detection, data loss prevention and cyber incident response.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • Monitors and assesses threats, dealing with critical issues for more complex threats, and taking appropriate action or raising as appropriate
  • Analyses and interprets complex data to provide regular reports and recommendations to collaborators
  • Sees opportunities to enhance models and policies, creates recommendations, leads the development and implementation of projects
  • Provides domain expertise and advice to technical teams and partner questions, driving continuous improvement, and may help to lead projects and activities
  • Oversees reports and analysis produced by Analysts, offering guidance where necessary and ensuring adherence to applicable Cyber Security control frameworks and polices.
  • Consults with relevant internal technical and business partners, providing subject matter oversight as required, enabling teams to understand technical security solutions and concepts to embed them in BAU practices
  • Translates technical and business requirements into effective Cyber security solutions, and / or builds security requirements for internal technology teams to incorporate into product offerings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in an IT related field
  • Authority for their domain
  • Significant related business experience
  • Experienced in managing/working with different teams.
