An exciting new opportunity has been created for the position of Attendance Support Team Officer within the Education Welfare Service in response to the new guidance published by the Department of Education ‘working together to improve school attendance’.
You will be purposeful in identifying and tracking the attendance data of all Redbridge schools, you will be the main point of contact for schools experiencing difficulties with managing attendance and offering advice and guidance. You will be confident in supporting schools through training opportunities or providing individual feedback.
Previous experience of working with children, young people and their families is required, preferably, but not exclusively, within an educational setting. You will need to be enthusiastic, committed to the values of education and be able to organise your work efficiently and effectively. Full supervision and training will be provided.
