THE OPPORTUNITY

Veolia is currently seeking a Waste Recycling Centre (WRC) Attendee to join our Waste & Recycling Centres on the Gold Coast.
As an Attendee, you will guide customers in the correct segregation of waste and play a crucial role in educating customers, providing direction, and ensuring positive engagement. This role will focus mainly on facilitating proper waste disposal practices. In addition, you will also be responsible for maintaining service levels at the Waste Transfer Station Facility.
Role location - Reedy Creek

• Attend and open the facility in accordance with the facility’s public opening times.
• Check daily instructions and prioritise accordingly to complete work tasks in accordance with required deadlines and Veolia policy and procedure
• Ensure that the customers adhere to the relevant Conditions of Entry at the facilities
• Undertake any required pre-start checks prior to beginning work tasks
• Direct customers to the appropriate unloading area as required to ensure the various types of waste materials are segregated as required
• Keep the facility in a clean and tidy state to meet operational performance in accordance with safety standards, customer expectations and performance targets
• Notify Supervisor/ Manager immediately of any incidents relating to the contract service levels
