- Strong organizational, planning, project management, communication, presentation, and influence skills
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to analyze legal terms and concepts in relation to the business needs
- Excellent skills using MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple challenging priorities
- Solid understanding of the government regulations that affect the operation of the organization
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or drug development process

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $92,300.00 - $153,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits
Responsibilities:
- Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts. Ensure that contracts are in compliance with legal, regulatory and organization policies. Monitor the contract process to assure compliance with the organization’s contractual guidelines, satisfaction of customers/vendors, including participation in pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations and contract changes
- Advise the organization on legal issues concerning intellectual property, indemnification, confidentiality, data privacy, and other substantive legal matters as impacting contract negotiations
- Collaborate with project team leads regarding contract-specific detail and escalate for approvals of contract terms to subject matter experts within the organization
- Evaluate needed contracting from a legal perspective to ensure protections of company liabilities while supporting the project teams’ management of customer and vendor relationships
- Manage document control to company standards
- Contribute to team-level operations through virtual engagement toward continuous improvement initiatives and process support
- Work in conjunction with direct line and senior management to ensure areas of responsibility are well serviced
