Description:
Our client is a growing law firm that is currently seeking a highly skilled Medical Malpractice Attorney to join the firm’s team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in cases in medical negligence, with a focus on surgical and ER negligence, diagnosis delays, and birth trauma. A strong track record in dealing with complex medical and legal matters is essential, along with an unwavering commitment to securing justice and compensation for the firm’s clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar.
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Malpractice Attorney, specifically in cases involving surgical and ER negligence, diagnosis delays, and birth trauma.
- Exceptional negotiation, research and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Proficient in using legal research software and platforms.
- Empathetic approach to client representation.

Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly investigate potential medical malpractice cases to determine whether a viable claim exists.
- Conduct extensive research and collaborate with medical experts to establish proof of medical negligence.
- Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, etc.
- Advise clients on their rights and possible outcomes, helping them make informed decisions.
- Negotiate with the opposition to reach fair settlement agreements when possible.
- Keep current with the latest legal and industry trends in medical malpractice law.
- Coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants in preparing for trials or hearings.
