Description:

This role is initially a contractual position, with the strong possibility of transitioning into a full-time opportunity based on individual performance and company requirements. As a Real Estate Attorney, you will navigate a diverse workload, demonstrating excellent breadth and depth of legal knowledge in relation to the realm of real estate activities. Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice and services on issues concerning the rights, obligations, risks, and privileges of the organization’s real estate activities
Research and analyze complex legal issues relating to real estate law
Review, revise and negotiate a variety of real estate agreements
Provide legal support for real estate financing, acquisitions, dispositions, and leases
Maintain knowledge of the organization’s business and related real estate legal matters
Coordinate and manage outside legal counsel on real estate matters as needed
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active attorney license with a ability to practice law in the respective state
At least 5 - 8 years of real estate attorney experience within a law firm
Mastery of core real estate attorney skills and proficiency in real property law, contract negotiation, and drafting
Effective communicator, both orally and in writing
Strong negotiation skills
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
