JOB DESCRIPTION

The Ford Agency is working with a prestigious international law firm in their search for a Professional Development Manager to support the attorneys career development within the firm. The Manager will identify professional development needs, implement programs and strategies to meet those needs, and provide coaching to attorneys at all levels of seniority. This is a unique opportunity for a learning & development professional to bring their skillset to an innovative Firm!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify career development needs for associates
  • Implement professional and career development programs for attorneys at varying levels in their careers
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to help integrate new attorneys to the Firm
  • Assist with onboarding new associates and advise them on Firm resources
  • Oversee performance evaluation processes
  • Assist with managing the team’s budget
  • Assist with other learning & development projects and initiatives

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • JD preferred
  • Coaching certificate preferred
  • 5+ years of professional development or learning & development experience
  • Experience in legal or other professional services firms
  • Experience developing career development functions in a global environment
  • Professional communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
