KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proven customer service experience (at least 1 year).
• Prior sales and marketing experience with proven record of results required.
• At least 1 year of experience in cash handling/cash management in a business environment.
• Well spoken, with an outgoing and friendly personality.
• Negotiation skills with a natural flare for selling.
• Patient, with the ability to remain calm and professional during challenging interactions.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize time effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible with the ability to work on weekends.
• Knowledge of brokerage or courier service industry preferred, but not required.
• Ability to provide accurate, valid and comprehensive information to customers, by applying the right knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to provide resolutions.
• Ability to maintain high levels of productivity and focus in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
• Disciplined and focused worker.
• Secondary School graduate with at least 5 general level CXC passes, including Mathematics and English A.
• Associates degree and higher preferred, particularly in Business Management and/or Marketing related course.

• Develop and execute initiatives to promote and market all auction products, with the aim of maintaining low levels of inventory by generating high sales volume.
• Maintain the auction room at a high standard of organization and cleanliness, with a particular focus on ensuring all packages are labelled to facilitate ease of retrieval.
• Regularly update the auctions catalogue, and share contents with customers on a monthly basis.
• Manage and update all group Shopify Accounts, West Tech Shipping auction social media pages (e.g. Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram), email accounts and other communication platforms used by the company to promote products and services.
• Receive and process online orders and facilitate sales exchange to customers.
• Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all internal and external customers, to deliver 100% satisfaction..
• Perform weekly inventory counts/stock take and record discrepancies. Daily stock counts may also be needed.
• Act as a liaison between customers and management, ensuring limit of twenty-four (24) hour turnaround for all customer escalations and follow-up.
• Prepare and submit weekly auctions report for management review.
• Accurately and expediently collect and process all payments received for products and services from customers.
• Ensure that all cargo is handled in a safe and professional manner.
