Description:

AUDIO DSP ENGINEER, GN AUDIO

At GN, we are bringing people closer, and through our Jabra brand, we are growing major technology shifts with intelligent audio solutions.
We are looking for an Audio DSP Engineer to our Audio DSP team who want to work with various aspects of the audio platform including algorithms, implementation, and software development.
We prefer that you can work from HQ in Ballerup, or from our Aalborg division for the best onboarding experience.
You are joining 20 highly skilled and dedicated colleagues. We are divided into agile teams each with a maximum of 8 developers, 1 scrum master, and 1 product owner. You will report to Line Manager, Audio Platforms, but your daily work will be together with your team and the projects you are allocated to.
What will you be doing?
You will be developing SW for an Audio DSP platform used in Jabra headsets, earbuds, and accessories. You will be working with design, integrating, testing, debugging, profiling, and documenting audio features running in our products.

Sound good so far? Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

  • You have a degree within electrical engineering, computer science or similar
  • You have experience working with audio SW in Bluetooth chipsets, Airoha, Qualcomm or other chipsets using Tensilica HiFi cores
  • You have experience within embedded debugging
  • You will be joining an audio-focused team so you should have an interest in working with audio DSP SW
  • You have experience within both fixed and floating-point signal processing

A keen interest in and experience with relevant technologies and methods
You do not need to be an expert in all aspects – but a motivation for learning new technologies and methods will get you a long way within GN.
We work with DSP, DSP architecture, embedded development, interfaces like I2S/TDM and C/C++ as well as SW development tools like VS Code, Git and code review tools.
Collaborative mindset
While there are plenty of opportunities for each of our team members to develop their own personal skill set, we are first and foremost a team.
Fluent written and spoken English skills
Our official company language is English.
The GN Audio culture
The GN Audio culture is upbeat and positive. We greet every day with energy and enthusiasm and are approaching problem-solving and challenges with a ‘glass half full’ attitude.
We are a multicultural team, with members from several countries. The team is a mix of local and remote colleagues, so we hold online meetings are a part of our DNA.
