EXCITING OPPORTUNITY: AV PRODUCTION MANAGER AT BOISE CENTRE!

We’re looking for an AV Production Manager to lead and elevate our audio-visual team, ensuring seamless execution of events with top-tier technology. In this role, you’ll coordinate AV operations, working closely with clients and internal teams to meet and exceed event expectations. With a focus on leadership, project management, and technical excellence, you’ll oversee everything from setup to delivery, making a lasting impact on each event.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the setup and operation of all audio-visual equipment, ensuring seamless execution for every event.
  • Act as the primary AV expert, collaborating with Event Managers, internal departments, and clients to deliver customized AV solutions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of AV professionals, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and fostering growth.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage AV infrastructure projects, including technology upgrades (lighting, audio, digital signage), while staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Prepare AV quotes based on event specifications, ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring all AV equipment is properly maintained and readily available for events.
  • Assist with the budgeting process, tracking AV department expenses, and managing project costs effectively.
  • Act as a liaison for external vendors and service contractors, coordinating their work to meet the technical needs of the facility.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are consistently followed by the AV team during operations.
  • Participate in pre- and post-event meetings to address AV-related questions and feedback, improving future event performance.
  • Stay hands-on during live events, filling technician roles as needed to guarantee success.
  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the AV department, ensuring all events are fully supported with the appropriate technical services.
