Audiologist / Clinical Scientist - Vestibular Lead

We are currently recruiting into our fantastic Audiology departmenthere at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, We are proud to introduce ourselves and share with you that we are looking to recruit a full-time permanent Band 7 Audiologist or Clinical Scientist to lead our Vestibular assessment and rehabilitation service. We are looking for an experienced Audiologist to lead our vestibular testing and rehabilitation service, and line manage a team of Audiologists involved in this service. The successful candidate will be able to fully utilise their experience in other areas of Audiology such as adult assessment and rehabilitation, or paediatric assessment and must be eligible for AHCS (RCCP) or HCPC registration.
Opportunities are available in many areas of Audiology including complex adults, tinnitus management and paediatrics. Excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills are essential. Ideally you will be looking for a Trust that will enable you to grow and assist more junior members of the team; we are also a busy training department so this role will involve supervision of students on the STP. There are opportunities to be involved with service review and development.
The department provides a wide variety of Audiology services. We cover a large geographical area with clinics in Hampshire, western West Sussex and the Isle of Wight. Applications for part-time hours or flexible working will be welcomed.
