DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the delivery of a high-quality service to clients. The role of the senior is producing accurate client work and to help junior team members.
This means producing accurate files, working to deadlines, and supporting others where needed. In this role, you will work within a well-established team, providing high-quality accounting and financial services to our diverse range of clients.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • The successfully appointed individual will be a qualified practice accountant (ACCA/ACA) or working towards the qualification.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit and accounts within a UK practice environment.
  • Experience in managing and/or mentoring junior members of a practice team, with a focus on driving results and exceeding expectations.
  • Proficiency in navigating professional regulations and best practices, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact.
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, and adaptability to evolving business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a dynamic portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
  • Prepare client paperwork (Accounts, tax, PAYE, VAT) within allocated deadlines to allow timely submission to HMRC.
  • Reconciling client accounting records via Excel or accounting software.
  • Ensure day to day client files/audits are completed correctly and within the timeframes and requirements set.
  • Deliver client work of the highest standards and ensure compliance with all legal and statutory requirements.
  • Handle client requests and queries in a manner that promotes client loyalty.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Utilising your expertise in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to streamline processes and enhance client experiences.
