Job Summary

We are looking to hire an Audit Associate who will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and implementing end-to-end client audit and assurance engagements. This role requires strong leadership skills and a sound knowledge and interpretation and application of Companies and Allied Matters Act, (CAMA) 2004 as amended, Nigerian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (NGAAP)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of HND
• 2 years of experience in similar role

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning and execution of audit, taxation and transaction advisory engagements;
• Project management of all aspects of Clients engagement, developing work plans, agreeing timelines, team briefing, supervision and delivery;
• Carrying out risk assessments of clients’ environment prior to and during audit exercise;
• Identifying, researching and resolving complex tax, audit and other engagement issues;
• Compilation and review of management and letter of representation and other reports;
• Preparation of deferred tax and other regulatory computation;
• Preparation, review and filing of applicable tax and other regulatory returns; and
• Responding and resolving queries from taxation and other regulatory compliance authorities
