YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You’ll excel in this role if you have:
- Completed your first year of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting.
- A completed or in-progress DESS in Accounting.
- CPA student member of the provincial regulatory body.
- Intermediate knowledge of the Office 365 suite.
- Basic knowledge of financial reporting and audit standards.
- Basic knowledge of taxation.
- Experience in accounting or assurance (an asset).
- Familiarity with CaseWare and TaxPrep software (an asset).
- Willingness to travel to perform audit work at our clients’ locations.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Audit Intern at Forvis Mazars, you will have the unique opportunity to gain practical and diverse experience in the field of audit. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in certification engagements and assist in the execution of audits.
- Prepare tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Collaborate with senior auditors and directors to ensure audits comply with current standards.
- Contribute to special projects and develop innovative solutions to meet our clients’ needs.
