As our Audit Manager for Technology & Digital, your role is to manage and deliver a portfolio of internal audits across the Kingfisher Group, using financial, operational and technology control requirements to reduce risk and/or improve efficiency and performance. This role can be based from our Southampton or London offices, 2-3 days a week in-line with our hybrid working policy.
What’s the job?:
- Lead allocated audits, including teams of auditors, to assess key financial, technology, or business-related processes, ensuring major risks are identified, understood, and addressed.
- Ensure consistent application of the audit methodology across the organization, adhering to IIA standards and ensuring high-quality audit execution.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, providing support and business partnering while maintaining independence.
- Raise significant issues with leadership, make recommendations for improvement, and ensure effective resolution.
- Prepare reports for senior management and board members, ensuring audit findings and recommendations are communicated clearly.
- Set expectations, review work, provide feedback to auditors, and contribute to the development and learning within the Internal Audit team.
- Adjust audit plans and priorities in response to resource constraints or operational challenges, ensuring audit objectives are met efficiently.
- Use appropriate data analytics tools and data interrogation techniques to enhance audit effectiveness and insights. This ensures that the audit function can identify trends and issues more efficiently, which is particularly relevant in technology and digital audits.
What you’ll bring:
- CISA or equivalent technology assurance certification, and experience of developing in-depth business understanding / audit experience in either professional service or large corporate organisation.
- Familiarity with technology infrastructure, ecommerce systems and SAP. Strong understanding of core technology management processes and controls, including as security, change management and software development.
- An understanding of technology security risks and controls, data governance, and legal/ regulatory requirements in a retail organisation.
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing, internal controls, and risk management.
- Confident using and interrogating large data sets and using data analysis tools.
