Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Audit Staff - Public in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 53202, United States. The role entails providing a variety of services such as audit, review, compilation, tax, and consulting services for nonprofit organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in audit teams to assist in planning, conducting fieldwork, and reviewing audit, review, and compilation services.
  • Draft and review financial statements in line with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Utilize networking skills in professional, civic, and charitable organizations to cultivate leads.
  • Ensure all necessary accounts have been analyzed and all issues addressed in the assigned audit section under the direction of the audit in-charge or partner.
  • Suggest journal entries for clients.
  • Prepare Form 990s for clients.
  • Utilize various Accounting Software Systems including CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx for audit processes.
  • Engage in Audit Engagements, Auditing, and Audit Plans as needed.
  • Participate in Budget Processes and manage Accounting Functions.
  • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
  • Experience in developing and implementing Audit Programs
  • Familiarity with CaseWare software
  • Ability to use CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax
  • Knowledge of Accounting Functions
  • Experience in managing Audit Engagements
  • Strong skills in Auditing and creating Audit Plans
  • Experience in Budget Processes
