Description:

We are offering a unique employment opportunity for an Auditing Clerk in Seguin, Texas, 78155, United States. Our selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our audit department. This role involves examining and verifying documentation, tracking auditing information, and facilitating the smooth operation of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Review and authenticate auditee’s documents and invoices against set criteria.
  • Ensure the accuracy and up-to-dateness of all documentation and records.
  • Prepare initial audit reports and highlight any discrepancies or issues for further investigation.
  • Collaborate with auditors to acquire, organize, and review necessary documents.
  • Assist in audits by retrieving necessary records and documentation.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Maintain organized and efficient filing systems, both digital and paper.
  • Assist in performing clerical tasks such as entering and updating data, scanning, photocopying, and mailing records.
  • Adhere to all company policies and compliance regulations.
  • Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems, Data Processing, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to perform Accounting Functions and provide excellent Customer Service.
  • Knowledge in Audit, Audit - Financial, and Audit Reviews.
  • Familiarity with Bonds, Construction, and QuickBooks.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems such as QuickBooks
  • Experience in Data Processing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of Accounting Functions
  • Experience in Auditing
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Audit and Financial Audit
  • Ability to conduct Audit Reviews
  • Knowledge of Bonds and Construction sectors
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Relevant certification or licensure may be required.
