Description:

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Authentication Analyst to join our client who are a global financial services organisation.
As part of the Authentication Services team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and managing identity management strategies, maintaining service health, and driving technical excellence.
Role and Responsibilities:
Serving as the main escalation point for SME-level 3rd line BAU incidents, providing in-depth troubleshooting and analysis.
Supporting the Team Lead in defining the technical direction for Identity Management through workshops and coaching sessions.
Creating and maintaining technical guides for peers and less experienced team members.
Managing the Identity Management platform, ensuring service availability, monitoring performance, and maintaining operational documentation.
Balancing technical insights with business risk to guide incident resolutions and project decisions.
Initiating improvements in operating processes using owned/licensed tools and escalating issues as required.
Producing and interpreting service performance data for trend analysis and management reports.
Leading efforts to educate technical teams on authentication technologies, fostering teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Promoting automation and scripting to enhance authentication tasks and monitoring.
Collaborating with the Problem Management function to identify root causes under the ITIL framework.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server.
Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
Ability to create, edit, and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts.
Familiarity with Quest AD management tools (e.g., Quest Change Auditor, Quest Recovery Manager).
Knowledge of ADFS, Certificate Services, and Privileged Access Management.
Experience with Single Sign-On configuration methods and protocols.
Proficiency in Varonis DatAdvantage or similar file auditing tools.
Understanding of cloud-based resources, such as Infrastructure as Code, SaaS, and Azure fundamentals.
