OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and a strong mechanical aptitude. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
SKILLS
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to automotive repair.
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
- Previous experience working in a autobody setting is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
The Auto body Technician is responsible for structural and intricate metal repairs, and will thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle while playing a pivotal role to our promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence in Collision Repairs. The Auto Body Technician works in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facilities’ KPIs.

Pay: $18.75-$38.68 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate is an energetic individual who has the ability to:
- Repair damage to vehicle body panels
- Vehicle disassembly and reassembly
- Repair or Replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories
- Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle
- Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle
- Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace damaged body parts.
- Perform frame straightening and alignment as required.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and priming.
- Finish repairs to meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols while working with automotive equipment.
