Responsibilities:

The Systems & Inventory Specialist supports inventory operations at the Auckland Distribution Centre. This includes maintaining the integrity of a large variety of parts, providing accurate data, and working with the Systems & Inventory team, site leaders, and network contacts to ensure excellent customer service.
The role also ensures compliance with Dangerous Goods storage regulations. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting SLAs are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Operations:

  • Manage inventory processes, including cycle counting and adjustments.
  • Investigate pick errors, shortages, and replenishment issues.
  • Document and dispose of damaged inventory per SOPs.
  • Ensure inventory is stored correctly and locations are optimised.

Systems & Reporting:

  • Maintain inventory systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Prepare reports for the Systems & Inventory Manager and leadership.
  • Communicate operational issues and meet KPI targets.

Health & Safety (H&S):

  • Promote and ensure H&S practices are followed.
  • Actively participate in H&S discussions, visits, and audits.

Other:

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Code of Conduct, Discrimination, Bullying, EEO, and WHS legislation compliance.
