Join our dynamic warehouse team that operates 24/7! We take pride in a clean workplace and ensuring the smooth flow of pallets on our conveyor system. We are looking for someone that will support the team with a can-do attitude, plenty of initiative and a flexible approach to shift patterns.
As a Automation Cleaner and Load Inspector, you will play a vital role in verifying the quality of pallets prior to infeeding and cleaning the automation area to the highest standard.

What you’ll do

  • Educate and guide drivers on the proper placement and quality of pallets on the conveyor system to ensure optimal processing, while addressing any driver questions about pallet handling.
  • Collaborate with the Automation Coordinators to prepare for shifts and support the inventory of cleaning products.
  • Perform cleaning tasks throughout the automation system while adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of pallets to ensure they meet our quality standards, identifying any damaged or unsuitable pallets for removal.
  • Report pallet quality concerns to the relevant people.
  • Maintain accurate records of all cleaning activities.
  • Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
  • Work closely with the Material Flow System team to ensure consistent and efficient operation.

What you’ll need

  • Very strong communication skills to effectively guide and assist drivers.
  • Attention to detail to identify and report any issues with pallet quality and cleanliness standard of the conveyor system.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Flexibility regarding shifts and days worked.
  • Prior experience in similar roles would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with automated systems, such as conveyors and sorters would be an advantage.
