The Automation/Electronics Engineer will report to the Chief Mine Maintenance Engineer.
This position is located in Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Support existing underground automation and control systems, power systems, and computer/IT systems
- Design, implement, and care for new control systems, power systems, and computer/IT systems
- Collaborate with Administration personnel to provide technical assistance on bid analyses, equipment evaluators, scheduling, estimating and procurement
- Provide training on new technology as needed; provide troubleshooting assistance as needed
- Guide aspects of capital and non-capital projects including scope, timeline, budget and quality
