ABOUT THE ROLE
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking an Automation Engineer in East Midlands to work for our client within the accounting sector. This role is initially a 6-month contract with the possibility of going permanent.
As an Automation Engineer you will be designing, developing and implementing automation solutions using RPA technologies. Our client is looking for someone to really drive the internal efficiencies forward. You will be enhancing processes to make them automated and seamless for the end user.
You must be proactive, result oriented, structured, and able to operate under pressure in a changing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using RPA technologies including Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate and Mulesoft
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess the potential impact of automation on business processes
- Configure and maintain RPA bots to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation processes to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to use and interact with automated processes
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in RPA technologies to continuously improve automation capabilities
