Description:

SUMMARY

The Automation Equipment Engineer will maintain and manage the Wafer automation equipment and improve all automation processes at the new QCELLS factory in Cartersville, GA. The Engineer will be a vital member and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical and mechanical engineering or related engineering fields
  • Maintenance and improvement of process or logistics automation for over 3 years
  • Industry experience related to mobile robots (AMR or AGV)
  • Electrical and mechanical license holders
  • Experience in carrying out automation improvement projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Bilingual in Chinese or Korean preferred
  • The ability to understand process automation
  • The ability to recognize and provide equipment failure analysis
  • Automation maintenance management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project management skills
  • AMR operation management and maintenance experience
  • ACS operation management and maintenance experience

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for tasks related to automation maintenance
  • Automation machine operation rates must be kept high
  • Oversee the installation of new equipment and management of related installation companies
  • Handle the automation improvement project progress and management
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of automation
  • Manage the inventory and usage of spare parts for equipment
  • Prepare reports for scheduled meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
