JOB DESCRIPTION: Automation Robotics Engineer

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking an engineer to work as an Automation Robotics Engineer in the R&D Hardware group. This is a full time, exempt position. You will be working with a team of engineers in both the USA and Sweden to develop robotic applications in the packaging industry. This is a new product for Packsize so you will get a chance to provide input on the system architecture from the beginning. We are looking for a professional that fits into our “outward mindset” culture that fosters an enjoyable work environment, while maintaining a high level of contribution for the team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design, program and test robotic sequences for packaging product placement
  • Document design decisions and share findings with team members
  • Support machines during production - remote and on-site support
  • Review existing code and fix bugs and issues raised by the Product team
  • Support testing by collaborating with our Software and Quality Engineering group
  • Travel to customer locations to resolve technical problems
  • Up to 5%-15% travel as needed
