YOUR PROFILE

• You bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in WCS/WMS-controlled production environments.
• You hold a successfully completed university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Engineering, or possess equivalent professional experience.
• You offer live support for our WCS (Warehouse Control System) & WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• You communicate fluently in English and preferably in German.
• You have solid SQL knowledge, a data-oriented mindset, and proficiency in creating analyses & reports.
• You implement/manage strategic WMS/WCS-related changes.
• You learn quickly and find solutions for every problem.
• You are numbers-oriented and possess a strong analytical understanding.
• You are open to working in shifts, including weekends and holidays, with the associated compensation.

YOUR ROLE

In the role of Automation Tech Support (f/m/d/x), you play a crucial part in providing 1st-level support for our Fulfillment Systems (WMS, WCS, etc.) at our Barleben near Magdeburg production site. As a valued member of a dynamic implementation team for warehouse software, you collaborate across functions with stakeholders to ensure smooth operational processes in the warehouse.
This role is available for a 24-month contract (extension possible)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You deliver live support for our WCS (Warehouse Control System) & WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• You conduct regular tests and ensure a seamless rollout.
• You set up dashboards to support system analysis and monitoring.
• You identify and resolve technical issues in the mentioned systems promptly.
• You continuously assess software systems and implement enhancements through extensions.
• You collaborate on solutions for critical issues with suppliers and internal development teams.
• You craft work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials for WMS and WCS, ensuring comprehensive reporting.
