Automation Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Technician to work on solutions for Canada’s leading manufacturers. We are seeking someone with a few year of experience that shares our passion for automation and is looking for an opportunity to learn and grow with our team.

In this role you will be exposed to:

• PLC Programming
• HMI Programming
• SCADA Programming
• Reading/Interpreting Schematics
• Building Control Systems

The following is required of all applicants.

• Currently reside in the GTA or surrounding area
• University degree or College certificate in field related to industrial automation
• Demonstrable experience with Rockwell Automation software suite for PLC and HMI programming
• Completed Inductive University course for Ignition 8.1 or are willing to complete prior to start of employment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mississauga, ON L4X 2X6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

Experience:

• Studio 5000/FactoryTalk View Studio: 1 year (required)
• Ignition 8.1: 1 year (preferred)
