The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Test Automation, a good handle on scripting, and experience with testing tools in Java and object-oriented development as well as Project Lifecycle Management tools such as JIRA and X-Ray.
- Extensive years of experience in automation testing or development.
- Extensive automation tool expertise required: Selenium and Page Pattern; Cucumber and BDD testing.
- Hands on with IntelliJ IDE and CI/CD Tools: Jenkins.
- Experience of using GIT and working knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and agile programming methodologies.
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical degree; advanced degree a plus.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Clarity and precision in verbal and written communication in English.
Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities are related to the SLIMS Automation project. Namely:
- Lead the Automation Team; support and develop the new Automation structure.
- Create Automation scripts for testing and maintain the traceability.
- Configure the test software/environment in which the test will be performed.
- Validate the test results and document and report the current result to management.
- Responsible for the CI/CD process, like monitoring Jenkins, ensuring the pipelines are up to date.
- Co-ordinate across teams and build a good relationship with the development team.
- If necessary, you may need to be involved in the manual testing process of SLIMS. Namely:
- Design, develop and maintain test cases in nUnit.
- Execute test cases and analyze and report test results to product teams.
- Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities.
- Work closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any issues.
