Do you want to be part of a fast paced environment, are you motivated and able to work efficiently? As a first-year apprentice, you are responsible for safety and quality of work in all tasks. Our Erin Park apprenticeship program includes specializing in Lexus or Toyota vehicles while completing post secondary automotive program. Our apprenticeship program is a 4 year joint commitment that provides apprentices with training, coaching and mentorship so they have the skill, knowledge and ability in preparation for writing the technician license.

As an Apprentice Technician you are responsible for:

  • Inspecting, Diagnosing and Repairing vehicles
  • Tire rotation and balancing
  • Lube oil and filter changes
  • Shop organizing / cleaning
  • General housekeeping and lot duties
  • Proven performer with a strong ability to prioritize
  • Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as a lube technician or tire technician and light duty repair
  • Must have a valid G driver’s license and be able to drive manual transmission
  • High potential to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to work in a team
  • Some shop background will serve as an asset
