Automotive Foreman

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Lead a team of technicians/subcontractors in the maintenance and repair of the accident repair department
• Oversee all stages of vehicle accident repair, including initial assessment, repair planning, and final inspection
• Ensure all repair works are quality-checked before handing over to customers
• Manage the workflow at the workshop floor and ensure optimum distribution of work to ensure productivity
• Monitor the inventory levels of repair materials and parts, maintain detailed records of repairs and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Nitec in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or Automotive Repair
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry
• Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques, including bodywork, painting, and frame straightening
• Identify training and development needs of Automotive Foreman and improve their knowledge and skills in Automotive Technology
• Able to lead Automotive Technicians and suggest improvements to work processes
• Possess a valid Class 3 would be an added advantage
