Automotive Functional Safety Electronics Engineer (Hybrid Location - Czech/

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in functional safety, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of ISO 26262, hardware design, embedded systems, and automotive safety protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
• Familiarity with electronics testing procedures, including HIL testing and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Polarion, or DOORS for requirements management.
• Understanding of automotive SPICE processes.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Czech and German is beneficial.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

• Lead the development and integration of safety-critical electronic systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, validation) and customers to ensure that designs meet all safety and reliability requirements.
• Conduct reliability analysis, hazard analysis, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on components and systems.
• Validate and document safety-related designs and processes to meet regulatory and industry standards.
