We’re hiring an HR Payroll Administrator to join our team at Sunset Ford in Sunset Hills South County.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Job applicant will ensure all employees receive timely and accurate compensation, including payrolls for employees in multiple states, monthly commissions, and periodic bonus payments.
  • Contributes to payroll process improvement in order to meet business objectives and improve employee experience.
  • Partners with other functions within HR (and departments outside of HR) to establish processes and resolve payroll issues.
  • Supports and contributes to Human Resources business objectives.
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests
  • Ensure all payroll data is secured for confidentiality
  • Establish payroll controls and audits
  • Assist on other H/R related projects as needed

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Paycom experience preferred
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven and strong analytical reasoning skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success in training and leading others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Very high level of attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll for 120 employees.
  • Process weekly and monthly commissions.
  • Prepare journal entries for each pay period.
  • Reconcile and analyze payroll related accounts.
  • Plan and execute quarterly and year end processes.
  • Maintain earnings and deduction code setup and W-2 mapping in Paycom.
  • Working with hourly employees and their managers, collect necessary time reporting information using Paycom’s timekeeping system; resolve timecard errors and make needed corrections required for timecard import prior to payroll processing.
  • Manage employee time off policies and accruals within Paycom’s timekeeping system.
  • Ensure all relevant legal documentation are completed, including new hire documentation, garnishments and deductions.
  • Process Workers Compensation claims and Insurance related work injuries
  • Help resolve and process employee related HR concerns
