Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Log Analysis Engineer with a focus on Adaptive Highbeam Control (AHBC) systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of vehicle data logs, system behavior, and will work closely with our development teams to provide thorough analysis and insights. This position will involve managing and analyzing logs from in-vehicle data collection drives, primarily focused on night-time driving scenarios.
QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Sc and/or M.Sc. in relevant field
- Proficiency in using CANoe/CANalyzer or similar log analysis tools within the automotive industry.
- Strong technical understanding of vehicle systems, particularly Adaptive Highbeam Control (AHBC) and other exterior lighting systems.
- Proven ability to quickly identify, analyze, and resolve issues using complex log data.
- Experience working with automotive systems in relation to night drives and functional testing, particularly for headlights.
- High competence in creating detailed and clear reports using Excel, derived from video feedback and log data analysis.
- Excellent English language skills! (both written and spoken)
- Certifications in log analysis or vehicle testing in real-world conditions is highly meritorious!
- Swedish language skills are highly meritorious!
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed analysis of vehicle data logs, focusing on diagnosing and resolving Adaptive Highbeam Control (AHBC) issues.
- Analyse night-time in-vehicle data to ensure accurate object detection and system performance.
- Review video feedback and create reports in Excel with calculations for distance, timing, and speed.
- Investigate and cross-reference CAN log data for root-cause analysis and system insights.
- Oversee the log analysis process from log ingestion to final reporting, capturing platform-specific details.
- Work closely with development teams to implement findings and solutions into ongoing projects.
