Description:
Yukon Nissan is seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Parts Manager to lead our parts department in Whitehorse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As the Parts Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the parts department, including inventory management, customer relations, and sales performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in automotive parts management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using computer systems and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities:
- Department Leadership: Manage and supervise the parts department team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of service and efficiency.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and organizing parts. Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that the parts department delivers outstanding customer service. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to parts orders or service.
- Collaboration with Service Department: Work closely with the service department to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance. Foster effective communication to meet customer needs.
- Financial Management: Monitor departmental budgets, expenses, and profitability. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of parts.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations regarding parts handling and storage. Promote a safe working environment for all staff.
