Bertrandt US, Inc. is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team. The Process Engineer will be responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce costs, improve sustainability, and develop best practices within the production process.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of process design, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
  • Implement controls on manufacturing methods using existing or new equipment to ensure repeatability and conformance to specifications.
  • Develop analytical processes and systems using known methods and principles for process excellence.
  • Monitor and audit the performance of processes, equipment, and products to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Confer with internal resources to determine product specifications and quality requirements, evaluating products accordingly.
  • Document processes and train operators and other personnel.
  • Investigate, recommend, justify, and implement new technologies, manufacturing methods, and equipment to meet competitive business needs and improve efficiencies.
  • Provide technical support to various departments within the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 3D modeling software.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge and experience with ProAlpha or a similar ERP system.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational disposition.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Willingness to accept change, learn, and work with existing/new technology in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited direction and a high level of responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)
  • Process Engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Continuous Improvement: 1 year (Preferred)
