Description:

SKILLS:

-Proven experience a quality inspector or relevant role
-Keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
-Responsible and trustworthy
-Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
-Thorough knowledge of quality control standards & testing methodologies
-Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
-Working knowledge of MS Office
-High School Diploma; Further qualification will be a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:

-3 years’ experience in quality assurance automotive stamping environment
-CMM experience an asset
-Clear understanding of GD&T & instructions to comprehend the quality expectations of the automotive part
-Perform incoming material inspection
-Perform in-process audit inspections at all stages of production
-Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures
-Perform final audit inspections
-Perform destruct test
-Collect and process data for customer specific requirement
-Train operators in the use of production MMD
-Maintain quality assurance documentation
-Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards
-Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained
-Work in a fast paced, high volume environment
-Assisting & supporting in QA Supervisor, Production personnel, Tool Room supervisor

-Ability to lift 35 lbs.
-Must be willing to work as part of a team
