Description:
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Functional Safety and Digital Design Engineers from multiple Digital Interface Controller teams to ensure consistency in Safety Architectures and Assumptions of Use (AoU’s)
- Collaborate with our pre and post sales application engineering team to guide on implementation specific queries in relation to our Automotive Digital Interface Controller IPs
- Be the voice of the customer in IP Safety Architecture reviews
- Develop detailed practical user guides for our customers in relation to Safety Architecture AoUs and external safety mechanisms
- Assess the feasibility of converting IP level external safety mechanisms to internal safety mechanisms in a practical and pragmatic manner
- Define and develop scalable internal safety mechanisms that can be leveraged across multiple IP’s
- Define and develop ASIC RTL design and verification at both chip level and block level.
- Perform RTL coding, synthesis, and simulation to ensure design functionality and performance.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Debug and resolve design issues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
