Description:
Experienced Automotive Service Advisor needed for growing import dealership in the Metrowest area. Modern store with lots of traffic and opportunities to upsell. As an automotive Service Advisor, this person will be responsible for managing the service process for customers from start to finish. This includes greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, providing service recommendations, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This person will be one of two Service Writers at the dealership and this person will be replacing the lead writer who was with the company many years.
The successful candidate is an experienced service advisor who knows how to upsell with integrity, close out ROs in a timely manner, and ensures that CSI stays in the green. Moreover, the dealer is looking for a Service Advisor that is great at communicating with customers and keeping customers informed throughout the repair process. In addition to selling work, it is important that the Service Advisor hired fulfills their administrative duties and opens and closes their ROs out in a timely manner. Experience on Reynolds and Reynolds is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and listen to vehicle issues.
- Communicate service options and costs.
- Schedule service appointments.
- Create, manage, and close out ROs
- Inform customers of repair status and any additional issues
- Obtain approval for additional repairs.
- Recommend additional services and products via technician MPIs and recommendations
- Promote service specials and loyalty programs.
- Maintain service records and process payments.
- Address customer concerns and encourage repeat business.
- Ensure CSI is at or above region standards
- Verify that all customer concerns are addressed.
- Work with technicians, parts department, and service manager.
- Participate in team meetings and training.
- Ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry standards.
