Description:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of secondary school
- Licensed technician (310s)
- Strong background in basic automotive repair
- Valid G level Ontario drivers license
Skill & Effort :
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have a concern for safety and awareness of safe working procedures
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot area’s in need of repair
Working Conditions :
- Occasional dealings with upset or impatient people.
- Occasionally manage stressful situations involving customers.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with the service advisers to avoid communication breakdowns with clients.
- Perform routine maintenance.
- Make preventative maintenance suggestions using the provided software solution(s).
- Trouble shoot systems to determine faults and extent of repair.
- Perform tests on repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets the manufacturer specifications.
- Remain up to date on BMW online training courses. Attend courses enrolled in by Service Manager/ Fixed Operation Manager.
