JOB SUMMARY:

The Automotive Technician is tasked with assembling components according to specifications. You will also use production and inventory tracking tools to record job time and claim parts needed for each assembly. Our ideal applicant has mechanical assembly experience and manual dexterity. Apprentices are welcome to apply along with other mechanical trades.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Mechanical aptitude required.
  • 1+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Manufacturing experience an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
  • Produce accurate and itemized orders for customers.
  • Examine new machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality.
  • Design a plan of action for all tasks and upgrades.
  • Maintain work logs when necessary.
  • Communicate with Production Planner to monitor inventory.
  • Keep shop clean and organized.
