QUALIFICATIONS AND SUCCESS:

  • Completion of Automotive Technician Program or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a desire to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to excel in a physically demanding environment, including heavy lifting and constantly moving throughout the day.
  • Being safety conscious is of utmost importance - always wear required PPE and follow instructed work protocols.
  • Motivated, positive attitude, respectful work environment, and develop team members in a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS ROLE

  • Structured work schedule, supportive and safe work environment.
  • Comprehensive training and mentorship from experienced technicians.
  • Eager to dive into apprenticeship training and work your way up from levels 1 to 2, to reach level 3.
  • Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues.
  • Upholding a safety-first mindset, consistently adhering to PPE and safety protocols.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute front-end brake services, shocks, and wheel alignments.
  • Safely perform tire removal, installation, and repair for passenger and light truck vehicles. This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting and mounting tires, balancing, inflating, and reinstalling tires. Diagnose tire issues, evaluate reparability, and apply appropriate repair methods.
  • Basic understanding and use of alignment machines, flush machines, oil lube and filter service.
  • Execute front-end brake services, shocks, and wheel alignments.
  • Assist and perform mechanical inspections and services, including work order procedures, alignment, flush machines, and oil lube and filter service.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, consistently surpassing each client’s expectations.
