As a Technician at one of our dealerships, you will be responsible for diligently maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to ensure both customer safety and satisfaction while contributing to overall departmental success. As a team player, you will uphold dealership standards and values, as well as foster positive relationships with personnel in all areas of the dealership. You continually strive to become an expert in your field so that the service provided is above customer expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs
  • Minimum two (2) years as an Automotive Service Technician, dealership experience preferred
  • Provincial Red Seal an asset, but not required
  • Valid drivers license
  • Strong time management, communication, and customer service skills
  • Good work ethic and positive attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, diagnose the source of any malfunctions, and examine vehicles to determine if addition work is required
  • Use strong communication skills to document findings, explain procedures and repairs to the Service Advisor, or advise customers
  • Completing training providing by the dealership and staying up-to-date on training programs and product knowledge
  • Encouraging compliance with laws, regulations, health and safety procedures, and dealership policy
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship while demonstrating time management
