Description:
OVERVIEW
Enterprise is excited to announce the opportunity for an Automotive Technician - Workshop Based to join our team based in Acklea.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Auto Electrics / mechanical Qualification preferred (but not essential)
- Demonstrated experience of auto electrics / mechanics desired
- Hold a valid UK driving licence (HGV 1 licence would be extremely beneficial).
- Forklift Truck Licence (although training can be given for this).
- A good standard of both written and spoken English.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work well as part of a team but also under own initiative when required.
- Be a well organised individual with excellent time management.
- Demonstrate a desire for self-improvement and enthusiasm to learn new skills including attending training courses both in house and external.

Responsibilities:
- To undertake all wiring, mechanical/hydraulic assembly and inspection of Acklea products as directed in technical drawings and customer specifications.
- Assist other trade personnel as required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
- Undertake maintenance, inspection and repair activities at customer depots as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or the Workshop Manager.
- Undertake general workshop duties.
- Other duties that may be required from time to time by the Company
- Actively suggest and encourage quality improvements to Acklea products and systems.
- Demonstrate good fault diagnostic skills.
- Maintain good productivity levels.
- Ensure the correct PPE is worn/used and report any failings through the reporting procedure
- Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly, is legible and handed in on time.
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner both at Acklea, in customer depots and whilst driving, treating members of the public with courtesy at all times.
- Highlight any shortfalls or issues relating to safety or maintenance immediately to the appropriate manager.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area and ensure all tooling and specialist equipment is checked, tested and compliant in line with company policy.
- Maintain sufficient security measures to prevent theft of company/personal property
