Our company is looking for an Automotive Technician to perform all aspects of automotive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair. The ideal candidate has ASE certifications and a background in automotive repair, including diagnosis, full bumper to bumper repair both light and heavy line work, and general repair. Day-to-day responsibilities also include test drives, vehicle diagnosis, spotting potential maintenance and safety issues on customers vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicating vehicle needs to our service writers
- Learn to effectively use our digital vehicle inspection systems
- Become familiar with Alltel, Identifix, and other diagnostic equipment
- Full vehicle inspections
- Delivering a fully repaired vehicle to our customer with a complete diagnosis and any future recommendations in a timely manner
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 4 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- Current driver’s license with a good driving record is mandatory
- Ownership of all hand tools required to perform services
- Willing to obtain, or has ASE Certifications (minimum of 2)
- Willing to work weekends as needed at the Shop
- Leadership & self-motivation
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalency
